After facing regulatory scrutiny, Amazon has abandoned its plans to acquire iRobot, the parent company of Roomba. The approval for the acquisition was deemed unlikely by regulators.
Listener Siobhan has informed us that Level Home has received Matter approval for its Level Lock+ smart lock with Home Key. Although the update is not yet available, it is expected to be released soon after certification.
Once again, Apple’s unannounced operating system homeOS has been spotted in the latest tvOS 17.4 beta. We speculate on what this new operating system could be and whether it hints at a new smart home display.
SwitchBot has introduced a new hub called the Hub Mini. This compact hub connects to SwitchBot devices via Bluetooth and integrates them with your Matter home.
