Amazon.com has announced that it will be hosting Prime Big Deal Days in October, following the success of last month’s record-breaking Prime Day sales event. The promotion will be available to Prime members in the U.S., Canada, and 17 other countries. However, Amazon has not yet provided specific details about the deals or the exact dates of the sale.

This is the second time that Amazon has held two major Prime sales promotions in a single year. Last year, the company ran its Prime Early Access Sale in October, following its flagship event in July.

During this year’s Prime Day, Amazon reported that July 11 was its biggest sales day ever, with many of its 200 million subscribers taking advantage of deals on items sold by the e-tail giant and third-party sellers on its marketplace.

According to Adobe Analytics, Amazon’s Prime Day revenues in the U.S. reached $12.7 billion, a 6.1% increase compared to the previous year. Other retailers, such as Target, Walmart, and others, also ran overlapping promotions during the Prime Day period.

Industry experts believe that Amazon may consider expanding its sales event calendar due to the ongoing success of Prime Day. Andrew Lipsman, principal analyst at Insider Intelligence, suggested that a spring home improvement event could be a potential addition to Amazon’s sales lineup. This event could feature home and garden products promoted by retailers like Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Wayfair, as well as Amazon’s flagship electronics for the smart home.

As Amazon continues to innovate and expand its offerings, consumers can expect more exciting sales events and promotions throughout the year.
